Vegan Moringa and Pumpkin seed waffles 🌱🧇
This hearty breakfast recipe just got better. Try out this Moringa waffle recipe! If you have a high-powered blender handy, this recipe can be prepared in one dish which helps minimize clean-up! These are not light and fluffy waffles, but they are incredibly moist, filling, and delicious. To add some protein intake mix a little peanut butter and maple syrup to make a nice sauce for topping and again boost your protein intake. Ingredients:
3/4 cup cornmeal
1/2 cup AP flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp kosher salt
1 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp freshly ground pumpkin
2 tablespoons Binta’s Kitchen Moringa powder
1 cup unsweetened plant milk
Method:
1. Whisk everything together until thick and smooth.
2. Heat a mini waffle iron & hit it with some cooking spray.
3. Pour about 2-3 tbsp batter in, cook for 3-4 mins until slightly browned and crisp. Remove & repeat.
4. Garnish with maple syrup, slivered almonds, and a dusting of moringa. Enjoy!
